It is obviouis you are a Kirby fan and thats ok. To answer your questions, a blower? no. Polishyour floors? no. Turn into a canister? no. Filtration? it has a Certified HEPA bag available. Warranty 7yrs bumper to bumper and lifetime on housing. Amps? 10 Transmission? no, but then because it weighs less it does not need on? and that is just one less thing to go wrong. As far as stealing patents, You had better learn more about your vacuum history. Royal has been around longer than Kirby.

too bad they took the patent from the Kirby. Kirby is king. Always has, always will be.
The Kirby is a good vacuum,? however there are some differances. Te Kirby is more expensive, has a plastic fan, plastic switch and the handle grip is plastic. I have seen all of these parts fail far more often than I have seen the same parts fail on the Royal. Also the kirby weighs twice as much. My # 2 choice would be the Riccar tandem air uprights, # 3 would be the Sanitaire professioanl blue line
What about a kirby? Next to the Royal direct air model, what would be the #2 or 3 choices?? Thanks!

I just bought a Shark Navigator liftaway and it its the Best Vacuum on the Market. I tried all in this one does the Job. Bought on Ebay? for $95
kirby is a direct air vacuum and cleans very well. The differance is that the Royal is lighter and less expensive. The Royal is also better quality, more metal parts like the? fan, switch and cord release just to name a few.
If your vacuum won’t turn? on it could be anything int he electrical system. I suggest you take to your nearest vacuum sales and service ctr. They should be able to trouble shoot it and tell you what is wrong.
